Last night was by far the most cohesive dinner we’ve had in the Kamikaze Dinner legacy thus far. The theme was Mediterranean, which encompasses anything that borders on the Mediterranean Sea, including Italy, Greece and Morocco. ¬†Our gracious host, Kevin, opened up his kitchen to me and 11 other guests. I focused more on the Greek emphasis and tried to stick with that theme. The appetizers were traditional Greek dishes: Spanakopita and Tzatziki dip with baked pita chips. Both were a little harder to construct than I thought they would be, but well worth it. The Spanakopitas were crunchy and creamy at the same time.
